Mr. Snail taking a rest on the window

Yesterday we had a visitor outside the window that was ten times bigger than any snail I’ve seen back home. I snapped a couple pics and went back to hurricane relief (I’ll explain next). Anyways, today he was still there, not moved an inch. I was a bit worried he was dead so I brought him inside and put him in a tray with a tiny bit of water and that sure sprung him to life! Almost had a snail taking off across the kitchen table! Luckily, I was able to catch him and put him back where I found him before I had a rogue snail that would likely fall victim to Duke’s never ending appetite.

In other news, a hurricane lives in my cabin. And her name is Aurora. I think only the pictures can explain the serious danger she is becoming, mostly to herself.

OH! I CAN SEE AGAIN! OH IT’S BIRDY! (Note: Mommy disaster averted, no babies were harmed in the photo shoot)

“I’m bored with ALL of my toys. What’s over here?”

“HA HA! I’ll see if Mommy really has eyes in the back of her head while she makes my dinner by trapping myself under this guitar stand!”

“Half an hour and my work is done here. That was exhausting! Time for sleep. Or so she thinks.”
